go:cycling

go:cycling have teamed up with Eco-Fair in 2013 to arrange a range of activities designed to encourage you to get on your bike & ride.

From teaching you how to fix a puncture to developing your bike skills – go:cycling will show you how.

Check out their seminar at 11.30 on encouraging your workforce to cycle – and lead by example by getting involved in the activities below.

Lead Ride To Eco-Fair

Ginny Leonard, cycling development office for go:cycling, will lead a cycle ride from Leeds Rail Station to the Eco-Fair at Elland Road. All participants who complete the ride will receive a free go:cycling goody bag. Cyclists must be confident in riding in city center traffic. The cycle ride will leave the train station Thursday 9th May at 09.30am.

If you are interested please first register for Eco-Fair. Once we have your contact details you’ll be directed to a second form where you are asked to tell us what activities at Eco-Fair you want to come to. Please state if you intend to bring your own bike or not. A limited number of bikes will be provided free of charge on the day – use the form to let us know if you would like to borrow one and we will be in touch with more details.

Bike Maintenance

Not sure how to fix a puncture or check your brakes? go:cycling are running 15minute  bike maintenance sessions to help keep your bike on the road. You don’t need to take your own bike, but please do register – on the second registration form we will ask you to tell us which activities you want to do you can opt in & we’ll look forwards to seeing you.

Bike maintenance classes will run at 11am, 12, 1pm & 2pm.

Brush Up On Your Bike Skills

Fun 10 minute sessions to help people make the most of their bike. These sessions  will be held in the go;cycling gazebo outside the main Exhibition Hall where experienced tutors will help you develop your bike skills. There is no need to register and you don’t have to bring your own bike.
