The CityConnect programme is funded by the Department for Transport and will bring about increased levels of cycling and walking through improvements to infrastructure and activities that will enable more people to access a bike such as our Bike Friendly Business and Schools accreditation schemes.
, the project delivering a series of improvements to local cycling and walking infrastructure have offered to organise a led bike ride for delegates wishing to travel to Elland Road by bike. The ride will depart from Leeds railway station’s main entrance on New Station Street at 8.10. It’s approximately 2.5 flat miles along the canal towpath and quiet back roads, and should take no longer than 25 minutes. Ideally, you’d bring your own bike along but are available at Leeds station for a small charge. If you plan to join this led bike ride, please contact CityConnect’s Gavin Wood at for further details.
